Join us in welcoming our new hires

We recently welcomed four new Customer Relations Officers, who will help us continue to promote positive relationships between our clients and care workers.

Monika Zmudziejewska, Jasmine Bellarbi, Swetha Ladella, and Zahid Mahmood have joined our customer service team as Customer Relations Officers to increase our output and strengthen client relations.

We have also onboarded Liz Parkes as our new Team Leader to support our team’s development, while Adam Cowdray joins us as Business Administrator to bolster internal operations.

Team promotions and awards

At Unity Plus, we highly value professional development in our team. As such, we recently promoted four team members to more senior positions, where they will have the opportunity to bring positive changes within our organisation. These new roles also allow for further internal progression and support employee retention as the business grows.

Hibat Ur-Rehman has been promoted to Customer Relations Manager, while Leigh Midgley and Sabah Arshad have been promoted to Senior Customer Relations Officers.

In addition, Taiba Qamar has been promoted from Customer Relations Manager to the newly created position of Group Operations Manager. In this role, she will continue to optimise our internal processes, lead on compliance and quality assurance for our field staff and support our internal team with any escalation issues whilst supporting the Directors with their ambitious growth targets.

We are also delighted to announce that our apprentice, Alin Florin Pop, recently won Intermediate Apprentice of the Year at Wakefield Express’ West Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2024. Taiba Qamar, his mentor, commented: “Alin is very passionate and understands that providing exceptional care is at the forefront of what we do at Unity Plus. Alin clearly has a lot of respect for the company and is willing to go above and beyond.”

New office space

To improve our on-site facilities, we have invested in a larger office space in the LOXA Building, Leeds, which will form our brand-new headquarters!

The office space now has three rooms designated exclusively for interviews, a large room solely for training purposes, a large multi-disciplinary room, and new private meeting spaces. We will invest in new branding and signs to create a welcoming space for everyone who enters.

Our spacious new headquarters will help create an enjoyable and enriching experience for our team and provide options to help them work in different spaces during the day.

In addition, we plan to build a unique community hub that will welcome those who require community support in Leeds and the surrounding areas. We’re excited to announce the full list of amenities for the community hub later down the line; watch this space!

Looking ahead to the future

We have ambitious growth plans to increase our care output and have invested in our staff base to ensure we can provide our clients with the most efficient and competitive service.

We believe that by investing in regulated training and creating internal processes to match the right individual to a Health and Social Care role, we can improve the standard of care nationwide.

If you are experiencing staffing shortages in your care organisation, Unity Plus can help! We provide specialised and regulated staff to handle your unique patient requirements and ensure you can swiftly fill any shifts. We also offer live in care and supported living staff to support their individual needs.
