Senior Care Assistant – West Yorkshire
We are looking for passionate, dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team, in order to help us continue delivering high-quality care to individuals across West Yorkshire.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work with vulnerable individuals, supporting them to live as independently and fully as possible. Whether in nursing homes or care homes, you’ll be part of a compassionate team committed to providing outstanding care.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work with vulnerable individuals to help them live their lives to the fullest whilst supporting them to maintain their independence. Assisting with their physical and personal needs, you will enhance each individual’s well-being and quality of life through your positive approach and supportive caring philosophies.
Your role will include:
✔ Supporting individuals to achieve their goals and maintain independence
✔ Medication administration
✔ Supporting with meal preparation and hydration
✔ Reporting any concerns to management
✔ Providing companionship and promoting emotional wellbeing
✔ Dealing with emergencies
✔ Reviewing care plans
✔ Leading a care team effectively
✔ Communicating effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals
✔ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
✔ Assisting with personal care

About you

A professional reference – which shows that you have a minimum of 1 year of care home experience in the UK.

Pay and hours
Salary: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour
