Credit Controller
As our Credit Controller, Iwona has extensive experience in the finance industry, and has been with Unity Plus since 2023. Iwona plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships with clients.
Iwona is passionate about supporting other departments, and ensures the timely collection of payments in line with customer trading terms.

How long have you been at Unity Plus?
I have been at Unity Plus since January 2023.
Tell us about your career history?
Since 2018, I have been employed as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, and later as a Finance Officer, where I handled the task of raising invoices for local authorities and processing payments to suppliers.
Currently, I am working as a Credit Controller within Care Accounts. I have a strong passion for being part of the finance team.
Additionally, I volunteered as Treasurer for a small community group from 2018 to 2020.
What qualifications do you hold?
I completed Level 4 AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting 2024, and also obtained GCSEs in Maths and English.
I’m also currently studying CIMA Operational Level.
How does your role support Unity Plus’ mission?
I assist in delivering a high level of service, ensuring customer satisfaction, fostering strong relationships with clients, supporting my team, and enhancing staff wellbeing. I work under pressure and can meet tight deadlines when required.

What are your hobbies?
In my free time, I enjoy activities like bike riding, reading, listening to music, and dancing. I also love playing badminton, and my plan is to start running!
One interesting fact about me is that I love psychological thrillers and mystery movies.
