As our Accountant, Eugene is responsible for preparing accounts and tax returns for limited companies and self-employed staff.
Eugene also plays a huge role in ensuring subcontractors working with Unity remain compliant when submitting tax documents. With ACCA and MBA Finance qualifications, Eugene brings a wealth of knowledge and support to the accountancy team.
How long have you been at Unity Plus?
I have been with Unity Plus since November 2021.
Tell us about your career history to date?
I worked as a Warehouse Picker and Operative for Mach Recruitment under Clipper Logistics in Sherburn in Elment, and I also worked for Royal Mail during the Christmas period of 2021 as a Warehouse Parcel Sorter.
What qualifications do you hold?
ACCA (Chartered Accountant) and MBA Finance.
Eugene’s Responsibilities
I prepare accounts and tax returns for both limited companies and self-employed staff. I file confirmation statements for limited companies and process payroll for some of Care Accounts‘ clients.
How does your role support Unity Plus’ mission?
I ensure that subcontractors working with Unity Plus remain compliant in terms of submitting accounts and tax returns to both Companies House and HMRC.
What are your hobbies?
I love watching football and listening to various football conversations. I enjoy watching interesting movies and series, and I also do a lot of cooking in my spare time. I also support both Arsenal and watch both the men’s and women’s teams.
An interesting fact about me that most people don’t know is that I sing in a choir.
