Andrew’s Responsibilities

Oversees all mental health-related care services, ensuring that the people we support receive the highest standards of care.

Responsible for managing and supporting our mental health teams, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Improve the overall quality of services, focusing on enhancing therapeutic approaches, developing staff, and ensuring that the services we provide are person-centred and tailored to individual needs.

How do you feel your role supports Unity Plus’ mission?

My role contributes to Unity Plus’ mission by ensuring that individuals with mental health needs receive care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centred.

By focusing on therapeutic methods such as DBT skills and trauma-informed care, I help our clients overcome challenges and improve their mental health.

I also ensure that staff are well-trained and supported, which leads to better outcomes for those we care for.

Ultimately, my role supports Unity Plus’ goal of empowering individuals to live fuller, more independent lives.

What are your hobbies?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, hill walking, eating out and attending music concerts. These activities help me unwind and stay connected to the things I love.

One interesting fact about me is that I’ve had the privilege of extended holidays around Asia, Europe, British Columbia, and an introduction to America. Having my dog has put a hold on this. I’m always seeking new ways to enhance my skills and learn from others.

Why should healthcare professionals choose to work with Unity Plus?
