I’ve been with Unity Plus since December 2022.

Tell us about your career history?

I previously worked as a Care Coordinator for a domiciliary care company. This experience led me to Unity Plus, as I have a strong background in care and can relate to our care staff.

I now lead the customer relations team, ensuring care homes are staffed with skilled, caring, and compliant individuals.

I’m able to recognise whether a potential candidate possesses the right knowledge and skills. My role allows me to make a meaningful impact from a broader perspective.

What qualifications do you hold?

Qualified with a Diploma in Health and Social Care and Level 3 Counselling.

Hibat’s Responsibilities

As the Customer Relations Manager, my main responsibilities include managing the customer relations team, ensuring that the right staff are booked into care homes, and most importantly, making sure the staff we recruit are caring and compliant.

I strive to uphold high standards across the team to meet both client and service user expectations.

A natural mentor, I support my team to grow and deliver the best possible outcomes for vulnerable individuals.

How does your role support Unity Plus’ mission?

I am a supportive individual and work hard to ensure my team feels guided and empowered throughout their journey with Unity Plus.

I mentor the team to help them improve in both fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, so that the vulnerable people we care for receive the highest quality of support and attention.

I strive to uphold high standards across the team to meet both client and service user expectations.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy sightseeing and spending time with my family.

I’m also a self-confessed crazy cat lady — I currently have five cats!
