Live in Care

Live in Care Services

We understand the importance of remaining in the familiar comfort of your own home. Our live in care services are designed to provide tailored, one-to-one support, enabling you or your loved one to maintain independence and wellbeing within their home environment.

Supporting independence and comfort at home

Our dedicated team takes the time to understand individual preferences, needs, and routines. We then create a bespoke care plan that ensures consistency, comfort, and peace of mind. Our live in care process is carefully designed to ensure clarity and efficiency at every stage, allowing us to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Our live in care process

Care planning

Our process begins with a detailed assessment of your individual needs, preferences, and routines.

We work collaboratively to develop a comprehensive care plan tailored to your needs.

This can include everything from personal care and medication management to meal preparation, mobility support, and companionship.

This plan is the essential guide for your carer, detailing exactly what support is required.

Open and honest communication is vital, and we encourage families to provide comprehensive information to ensure the care is perfectly tailored.

Matching you to a carer

We only engage with dedicated, professional carers who successfully meet our stringent vetting requirements.

Every carer we introduce must have a clear, enhanced DBS disclosure and the legal right to work in the UK.  They are required to have completed the Care Certificate Standards.

In addition to the 30 mandatory training modules that everyone must complete, we also insist on any others that are specific to your needs.

Ongoing support

Unity Plus conducts regular supervision and spot checks to monitor the quality of care.

We have strict policies to ensure professional conduct, with all communication directed through the Unity Plus office. Carers are not permitted to use a client’s phone or internet for personal purposes during working hours.

We maintain regular contact with the carers and conduct monthly face-to-face visits with you.

This ongoing oversight ensures that the highest standards are maintained and that the service remains responsive to any changes in your needs.

Live in care for people of all ages and needs

Nothing is more important to us than making sure our clients have the most suitable care that meets their needs. We offer a tailored home care service, allowing you to remain in the comfort of your own home and stay connected to the place and people that mean the most to you.
