Support Worker – West Yorkshire
We are looking for passionate, dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our growing team, in order to help us continue delivering high-quality care to individuals across West Yorkshire.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work with vulnerable individuals, supporting them to live as independently and fully as possible. Whether you are in a mental health service or supporting an individual in the community, you’ll be part of a compassionate team committed to providing outstanding support.
Your role will include:
✔ Supporting individuals to achieve their goals and maintain independence
✔ Medication administration
✔ Providing personalised support
✔ Supporting with meal preparation and hydration
✔ Supporting with moving and handling
✔ Light domestic duties
✔ Engaging in activities within the community
✔ Reporting any concerns to management
✔ Communicating effectively with families and healthcare professionals
✔ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
✔ Dealing with emergencies
✔ Reviewing care plans
✔ Ensuring that IPC procedures are adhered to
✔ Providing companionship and promoting emotional wellbeing

About You
We’re looking for kind, reliable people who genuinely care about others. You’ll need:
A passion for care – and a belief that everyone deserves to be supported with respect and kindness.
Proof of Right to Work in the UK – we can’t place you in roles without it.
A professional reference – which shows that you have a minimum of 1 year of care home experience in the UK.
Excellent communication skills – allowing you to work effectively within a team.

Pay and Hours
Salary: £12.21 – £15.33 per hour plus pension contributions
